Who we are

A small practice, built around the conduct of difficult matters.

Lexforte Chambers is a litigation-led chambers with offices in Ghaziabad and at the Tis Hazari Courts in Delhi. The advocates who advise on a matter are the advocates who appear in it.

The chambers

The chambers was formed around a straightforward premise: that clients are better served by a small number of advocates who know the file completely than by a large team that knows parts of it. Instructions are accepted in numbers the practice can carry, and the same counsel remains on the matter from the first conference to the final order.

Our work spans the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, District Courts in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, and specialised tribunals including the NCLT, NCLAT, DRT, CAT, NCDRC, NGT and MACT. That range is deliberate. Disputes rarely respect the boundaries between civil, commercial, regulatory and criminal jurisdiction, and a client should not have to assemble separate counsel for each.

We write before we argue. Every engagement begins with a written view of the available forums, the probable timeline and the risks we consider material — including the risk that litigation is the wrong instrument altogether.

“A brief should be capable of being read once, by a tired judge, at the end of a long board. Everything else is decoration.”
